Paul Grenfell: "One of the toughest survival situations that I could think of in any game genre is the experience known to hardcore shoot-em-up fans as “Bullet Hell”. I thought it would be interesting to distil this into a much more compact game by removing as many unnecessary elements from the source genre as possible.
