Mike Hogarth: "First thing that came into my head when I heard the theme of 'survive' was, whatever I came up with, it would involve avoiding things rather than killing them. I also wanted a gambling element, and something with a 'one more go' feel to it. Above all, it was important to keep it simple (because I'm only really a beginner when it comes to games programming) - looking back at the day, I think I achieved everything I wanted to achieve and am very proud of the final result!"
